CLA Magazine

November 24, 2022

As part of a year-long celebration, the University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts (CLA) published a magazine to send to alumni and friends as a way to recognize the great work being done as a result of its donors’ ongoing generosity.

A College of Liberal Arts education asks big questions encompassing academic disciplines and endeavors that span the human condition. The magazine’s feature stories highlight the interdisciplinary nature of living and learning, pointing us toward the next 150 years as much or more than it looks back at what the College’s graduates have accomplished to date.

CLA believes a liberal arts education is more vital, vibrant, and relevant than ever before. By preparing students to think independently, work collaboratively, and question constantly, CLA is shattering expectations for what the liberal arts can be.
